TSB Bank is a New Zealand-owned bank. Established in 1850, it’s grown to a network of 14 branches in the Taranaki, Hastings, Hamilton, and Tauranga areas.



Originally known as the Taranaki Savings Bank, it was originally founded in 1850. Making it one of New Zealand’s oldest banks. The company’s headquarters have remained in the same place for over 160 years in New Plymouth.

The bank has grown dramatically since its inception, although not to the extreme of some of its competitors. Currently operating 26 branches around the country, with a heavy focus on the Taranaki region of New Zealand.

Sponsorships are common ground within the organisation and it has claimed the naming rights to many of them. Sponsored organisations include TSB Bank Festival of Lights, TSB Stadium, TSB Showplace and much more.
