University Of Waikato How To Pay Tuition Fees

There are various ways that you can pay your tuition fees at the University of Waikato.

Student Loan (New Zealand students only)

If you are intending on getting a New Zealand Government Student Loan, we recommend that you apply for your student loan two months before your study starts. This will give you plenty of time to resolve any problems that might arise.

You can apply for a student loan through StudyLink.

Miscellaneous charges (eg admission fees, late enrolment fees) are not covered by a student loan. You need to pay these fees in full before you can complete your enrolment.

Credit card payment

You can pay by credit card online through MyWaikato when accepting your enrolment agreement online. The University only accepts Visa and Mastercard.

Direct credit/Internet banking
