To help you estimate your annual tuition fees and costs, set out below are the approximate fees and other costs you are likely to incur if you are enrolled in one year of full-time study.



Pre-degree Programmes

The following approximate tuition fees are based on one semester (full-time study) consisting of four papers.

Master of Cyber Security – 180-point Master degree (example)

You may be able to complete this qualification in 1.5 years of full-time study.

Additional fees

You will need to pay the Student Service Levy on top of your tuition fees, to cover some university services. There may be other additional non-tuition fees you might need to pay.

Non-tuition costs

In addition to your tuition costs, you may need to pay additional fees while you study at the University.

The Student Services Levy is compulsory for all students, however, all other costs may not apply to all students.

Student Services Levy (2020)

This levy is compulsory for all students and covers the services available to students while studying at the University. The levy varies on the location of the paper and duration of study.

Parking (Hamilton campus)

Parking charges apply on the Hamilton campus Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm (except public holidays). General parking outside of these times is free.

For part-year students and students studying courses approximately one year in duration (including Study Abroad and Exchange students, Postgraduate Diploma, Masters and MBM students) you will be charged a minimum of one trimester ($310) and a maximum of a full year premium ($620) over a twelve-month period from the start of your study.

International students refund administration charge

International students who withdraw their application or their enrolment before the start date of their programme will receive a 100% refund of pre-paid tuition fees less a $500 administration fee.

Students who withdraw their application or their enrolment after the start date of their programme but during the period for deletion of papers (refer to Clause 12 of the Change of Enrolment Regulations 2012), will receive a 100% refund of pre-paid tuition fees less a $2,000 administration fee.
