The New Zealand Government provides scholarships to eligible citizens of some developing countries to undertake tertiary level study in New Zealand.
The purpose of the New Zealand scholarships is to enhance the skills, training and knowledge of selected individuals and thereby build capacity to contribute to the sustainable development of key areas in their home country, including the reduction of poverty.
