Subjects

The School has a well-deserved reputation for producing outstanding graduates in all fields of business. One of the best things about Otago is our flexible degree structure.

For your bachelor’s degree, you’ll need to choose a major subject. This is what you’ll specialise in. With most degrees, you can optionally add a minor subject (which is like a mini specialisation), and a mix of papers from other subjects.

When you select a subject below, you’ll be taken to the department website that specialises in that subject.

If you already have a university degree, you may be more interested in our postgraduate qualifications.

Our research

Otago Business School researchers are involved with a wide variety of research projects. These projects have the potential to contribute real value to the wider community, business, government, and the not-for-profit sector.
