Otago Alumni & Friends are more than welcome to visit the Development & Alumni Relations Office at the south end of the Clocktower building. Enter through the main entrance and ask the staff at reception for directions.

We offer a range of options for donating to Otago. If you would prefer to discuss your support for the University with us in person please contact Shelagh Murray, Director of Development and Alumni Relations.

Reunion information request form: If you’re planning a reunion we can help by sending invitations to your fellow alumni on your behalf, simply complete our online form and we will be in touch.

Group email request form: University of Otago staff can use this form to request the sending of group emails.

Class reunions

Class reunions are a wonderful way for you to reconnect with old friends. If you’re thinking of organising a class reunion, we can help you – and while the reunion itself is organised by you and your committee, we offer a free service to help you where we can.

OUSA Shuttle service

Coming to Dunedin for a reunion and need to get between Dunedin airport and the city? The airport shuttle service that has been available to students is now available to alumni attending Otago reunions.

Alumni benefits

As an alumni of the University of Otago you have access to a variety of benefits, including continued use of the University library, discounts from participating businesses, and access to discounted short courses.

Library Membership

Alumni can obtain a Graduate’s Library Card, which allows access to University of Otago Libraries for reading, writing, and research.

Visit the alumni library page to complete the registration form and find out what resources and services are available for alumni. When completing the authorisation details please use ‘Library‘ for all fields and ‘[email protected]‘ as the authorisation email, your request will then be sent for approval.

Radio One app

Radio One is currently moving their Onecard discount card to a mobile application system. Keep an eye on their website for more information as it becomes available, Radio One 91FM Onecard

IT Short courses on campus are now available to alumni. Some are free of charge, and all others receive a special alumni discount of 15%.
