University Of Canterbury Summer School

The University offers a wide selection of undergraduate, postgraduate and preparatory courses in a range of subjects over summer (November-February).

Taking a summer course gives you an opportunity to get ahead by shortening the time it takes to complete your degree or to catch up by retaking courses you failed or withdrew from during the year.

You can spread your workload, catch up after taking introductory courses during the year, enrol in summer only, improve your academic skills and if eligible you can receive StudyLink assistance over summer.

Summer courses

We have summer courses starting in November 2020 and January 2021. See the individual course pages for timetable and fees.

Headstart courses

Our Headstart courses are non-credit, catch-up preparatory courses that can help prepare you for first-year degree study.
