University Of Canterbury Netball

UC Netball Club is one of the largest senior clubs in Christchurch and the only club affiliated with the Univeristy of Canterbury. Our club is run by a small group of volunteers who are enthusiastic and dedicated to providing our members with the best club netball experience possible.

In the 2019 season UC Netball registered 17 teams with Christchurch Netball Centre, playing in the Saturday competition at the Hagley netball courts. We pride ourselves on catering for all players of all levels – competitive and social.

For the 2020 season, our A team will start in Premier 1, our B team in Senior 2, C team in Senior Reserve 2 and 3 teams in the 2A Grade, meaning there are no shortage of opportunites for new and existing members.

Being a University Club we ensure we organise plenty of social events for our members. We have close ties with the UC Rugby Club, including shared clubrooms and weekly player of the day evenings throughout the season.

Please feel free to get in touch with us if you have any queries about netball in Christchurch. We would love to hear from you!
