Home to the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, the Grafton Campus is situated opposite Auckland Hospital on the boundary of Auckland Domain.
It houses many of the faculty’s departments, plus the Department of Optometry. Other departments have premises at Auckland, Starship, North Shore, Middlemore and Waikato Hospitals. The School of Population Health occupies a large complex at Tāmaki Innovation Campus.
Established in 1968 in Park Road as The School of Medicine, it became the Grafton Campus in 1995 and now houses facilities such as a café, health services, and the Philson Library.
