Postgraduate certificate programmes

Postgraduate certificate programmes enable you to quickly update your business skills and knowledge and enhance your employability in the business world.

These flexible, tailorable 60-point taught programmes consist of four business courses, which will give you a foundation of skills and knowledge and provide a pathway to further study at masters level.

The postgraduate certificate offers an alternative pathway for graduates who are initially uncertain about committing to a masters programme, and for those who do not achieve the required GPA for direct entry at masters level.

Courses passed for the postgraduate certificate can be reassigned to the masters programme in the same subject, provided you meet the minimum GPA entry requirement and the postgraduate certificate has not been awarded.

Postgraduate Diploma in Business (PGDipBus) – Māori Development

120 points, part-time, quarter-based evening classes

The PGDipBus in Māori Development is designed to build on the knowledge and skills of Māori leaders, executives, entrepreneurs and business managers and administrators who are engaged in Māori business development, and those who wish to learn how to work more effectively with Māori and within the Māori economy. From 2021, the programme will be offered in the Te Tai Tokerau, Tāmaki Makaurau and Te Tai Rāwhiti regions, through a combination of wānanga and online learning.
