Although the Massey PN Clinic on campus is closed, our services remain OPEN. All our clinic team are working remotely offering Zoom (video conference) and phone call sessions.

Massey University Psychology Clinic (Palmerston North) is the largest psychology clinic in New Zealand. The clinic is associated with the School of Psychology at Massey University.

We offer:

Clinical Psychology Service

The Clinical Psychology Service provides psychological services to the general public. We also provide neuropsychological services.

Health Conditions and Cancer Psychology Services

Health Conditions and Cancer Psychology Services works with adults and children with cancer, cardiovascular, diabetes, respiratory and renal conditions.

Research

Our research is largely applied, designed to improve practice, and often includes student participation.

Training

We are the largest university psychology clinic in New Zealand and offer the best workplace training in the country.

Due to COVID-19, the Psychology Clinic at Massey University, Wellington is closed for face-to-face sessions until the level 4 alert has been lifted.
We are still able to provide therapy and support throughout the coming weeks via Zoom or by telephone.

The Psychology Clinic at Massey University team

Massey University has provided high quality services in clinical psychology since 1987. The Psychology Clinic at Wellington was opened in 2001. Our clinical staff provide a private clinical psychology service to the greater Wellington region from our base in 24 King Street (near the Basin Reserve).

We specialise in the treatment of psychological disorders using scientifically validated assessment and treatment approaches for children, adult, and older adults, and are committed to providing a culturally proficient service to clients.

The Psychology Clinic has a special emphasis on working with clients who have sustained brain injury and is active in conducting clinical research.

The Psychology Clinic is staffed by a team of senior clinical psychologists, as well as intern psychologists who are in the final stages of completing their postgraduate training in clinical psychology. The clinic is operated by the School of Psychology, Massey University at its Wellington Campus and provides services for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults on a fee-paying basis.
