Clinic and service fees

The fees you pay will depend on whether you have registered the Health and Counselling Centre as your Primary Health Organisation. Consultation fees must be paid on the day. The time allocated for a standard appointment is 15 minutes. Complex consultations may require a double appointment and will be charged at a higher rate.

Ministry of Health funding is different for each region. This means some PHO services and time frames will be different to other regions. Please check with your campus clinic if you’re unsure about any of our services and time frames.

Cancelling appointments

If for any reason you can’t make or need to change your appointment, you need to let us know as soon as possible.

  • Medical and health appointments can be cancelled/changed up to two hours before your appointment.
  • Counselling appointments can be cancelled/changed up to 24 hours before your appointment.

You can cancel your appointment in person or by email, phone or text message.

Missed appointment fee

If you’re a Community Services cardholder who is not PHO registered with the Health and Counselling Centre, you will still receive a discount on clinic fees when you present your card.

Please note: ACC charges are additional to the consultation fees listed and will be applied to your appointment bill.
