The ladies of Delta Delta chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. are sponsoring its annual Geraldine Kinney Scholarship for Finer Womanhood.

The $250 scholarship, which is named for Geraldine Kinney, a charter founder of Zeta Phi Beta at Lincoln, who has dedicated more than 50 years of service aiding in the progression and betterment of the organization, is awarded to a female sophomore, junior or returning senior with a 3.0 and above G.P.A. that best exudes characteristics of finer womanhood.

“Scholarship and service are two of the principals that Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. were founded upon,” said Quandalasha Fambro, president of Delta Delta chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.  “By giving out this scholarship we are doing a service to the Lincoln community because there are many deserving students who lack sufficient funds to continue further their education.
