The Bond University College difference

  • Situated on the Bond University Campus
As a Bond University College student, you are immediately part of the Bond community with full access to all of Bond’s sporting and recreational facilities, student associations and clubs, providing you with the opportunity to meet people from around the globe.
  • Choice of starting dates
Bond University College’s intakes in January, May and September coincide with Bond University’s semester start dates, allowing you to move straight into your chosen undergraduate program.
  • Personalised teaching environment
In line with the University’s personalised approach, you will study in small class groups with teachers who know you by name and have an open-door policy to assist with specific problems or challenges. The major differentiator of the Diplomas over the Bachelor programs is that Diploma students are offered one additional hour of tuition per subject per week.
  • Student support
In addition to the assistance available from teaching staff, students at Bond University College have access to free English language and academic skills workshops and individual appointments with our student support staff. Bond University College has partnered with Studiosity to provide an online after hours student support service for Diploma, Foundation and Diploma Preparation Program students. This service compliments the services offered by the on campus student support staff. Students also have access to the University’s counselling services, medical clinic and international student services team. Bond offers a safe and relaxed environment, with campus security operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
  • Student mentoring
You will receive regular feedback on your academic progress, with one-on-one help available. Weekly attendance monitoring and regular welfare checks will also ensure you are integrating into life at Bond.
  • Adjusting to the Australian style of learning
Bond University College programs offer international students the chance to adjust to the more interactive, discussion-based style of learning practised in Australian universities. You will be eased into class participation in a supportive environment. All students undertake Academic Skills training that enables students to succeed in an Australian academic environment.
  • Progressive assessment
Students are assessed progressively throughout the semester with a range of assessments including written, oral, group work and examinations.
