The Certificate in Sport and Recreation is for Year 13 students who didn’t get UE at school and want to staircase into the Bachelor of Sport and Recreation or prepare themselves for further study in a health sciences degree.
You can start this programme at the AUT North Campus in February (Semester 1), and at the AUT South Campus in February or in July (Semester 1 or Semester 2).

This certificate can prepare you for further study in:
- Sport and recreation (offered at the North or South Campus)
Sport and recreation papers
You build your academic writing, communication, computer literacy and time management skills, and develop an understanding of coaching, goal setting and teamwork. You can study the sport and recreation papers at the North or South Campus, starting in February or July.
