The Biostatistics and Epidemiology department is part of health sciences at AUT. It collaborates with quantitative researchers within the Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences, and provides advice, statistical support and supervision to postgraduate students.
Biostatisticians contribute to the entire lifespan of a research project, from formulating research questions and the study design, through data collection and data analysis, and finally to the formation of conclusions and the dissemination of results.
