AUT City Campus: Early Childhood Centre

AUT Early Childhood Centre cares for children (from 6 months to 5 years) of students and staff on AUT’s City Campus. This licensed, community based childcare centre is open plan and mixed age, with a separate indoor area for infants and toddlers.  AUT Early Childhood Centre caters for 40 children; 12 of whom can be under 2 years old.

AUT Early Childhood Centre is not-for-profit and well-resourced – our money is spent on your children’s learning and improving our service to you.

We offer:

Enrolment

Complete the online form to register your interest in a place at the centre. We will contact you when a vacancy is available.

Minimum enrolment is 2 days (preferably 14 hours).

Fees

These fees are current as of January 2020 (subject to change).

Administration and activity charges

We charge a flat fee of:

  • $50 to cover administration for any new enrolment
  • $2 per week, per child, for the costs of special activities, resources and events during the year (including shows, family gatherings and field trips).

You must provide nappies and meals for your child (we do not provide these).

Fees for full-time students

These fees apply when at least one parent is in full-time study at AUT.



In exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of the centre leader, we may allow a part-time student to pay full-time student fees.

Fees for staff, part-time students and others

These fees apply to AUT staff and part-time students, and students who may have finished study at AUT while their child is transitioning out of the centre.
