The amount of interim Accidental Death Cover is equal to the Life Insurance Benefit amount you have applied for or $500,000, whichever is less, and will only be payable subject to the terms and conditions explained in the Policy Wording.
Things you should know
If you currently hold another insurance policy, you should carefully consider the terms and conditions of both policies before you replace it with this policy.
This life insurance by itself may not suit your insurance needs or those of your partner. Please ensure you are aware of the full range of options available to you before taking out cover.
If you or your insured partner dies, or has a terminal illness caused or contributed to, directly or indirectly, by suicide, attempted suicide or intentional self-injury, within the first 13 months of:
- your cover start date; or
- from the date your policy was reinstated after being cancelled or lapsed;
we will not pay a life insurance benefit.
Any increase to your Platinum Life Insurance is also subject to the first 13-month limitation.

During the first 24 months, this Funeral Insurance only covers death by Accident.
This Funeral Insurance is not a savings or investment plan and depending on how long an insured person lives, you may pay more in premiums than the amount of cover you choose.
