2021 Intake
Thursday 14 January 2021 (9am QLD time) | QTAC applications open for the Medical Program^ applicants (all Domestic applicants apply through QTAC regardless of where they live – either in Australia or overseas). Applications to the Medical Program^ is via application to one of: Undergraduate: 020712: The ^Bachelor of Medical Studies (BMedSt) and the ^Doctor of Medicine (MD); Graduate: 020741: The ^Bachelor of Medical Studies (BMedSt) and the ^Doctor of Medicine (MD) (Graduate Entry) |
Thursday 28 January 2021 (Midnight QLD time) | QTAC applications close to the Medical Program^ (Undergraduate and Graduate). |
Friday 29 January 2021 (4.30pm QLD time) | Deadline for all supporting documentation to be provided to QTAC by applicants where QTAC requests additional documents. |
Friday 12 February 2021 | Testing invitations will be sent out by email progressively to selected applicants from 2pm onwards. |
Monday 15 February to Tuesday 16 February 2021 | Psychometric testing conducted on-line. Opens from 9am, 15 February and closes 9am, 16 February 2021 (QLD AEST) |
Friday 19 February 2021 | Interview invitations will be sent out by email progressively to selected applicants from Friday, 19 Feb 2021 until all available interview spaces are filled. |
Tuesday 2 March, Wednesday 3 March and Friday 5 March 2021 | Medical Program^ interviews coordinated and conducted at the Faculty of Health Sciences & Medicine. Interviews will usually take about 3 hours to complete from registration. |
Friday 12 March 2021 (8.30am QLD time) | Round 1 offers released and available from QTAC website. Round 1 offer letters released by Bond University. |
Tuesday 16 March 2021 | Lapse date for Round 1 offers. |
Tuesday 4 May 2021 | O-Week commences (compulsory attendance for Medical students). |

^ The Medical Program is comprised of two sequential degrees – the Bachelor of Medical Studies (BMedSt) and the Doctor of Medicine (MD). All students selected for entry into the Medical Program^ will have to complete both the BMedSt and MD to be eligible for registration as a medical practitioner in any state or territory in Australia or New Zealand.
