Winter Graduation update for graduands (20 August)
We’re sorry AUT is unable to host the in-person Winter Graduation ceremonies because of the alert level restrictions on social gatherings. Although we won’t be able to come together, we’re committed to ensuring you have your parchment delivered – and also want to give you the option to participate in a future ceremony.
Getting your parchment and registering to attend a future graduation ceremony
Before Monday 24 August, you need to advise us of your preferred option for getting your qualification parchment. You can also let us know if you’d like to participate in the Summer Graduation ceremonies planned for 8 to 11 December 2020.
We sent graduands an email with further details about how to do this. If you didn’t get an email, contact the Student Hub on [email protected] or phone 0800 288 864.
Tell us the address you want your parchment couriered to
As we’ll be couriering the parchment to you, it’s essential that you let us know the physical address you would like it delivered to. Do this in Arion before Monday 24 August. We cannot courier to a PO box or private bag address – it must be a physical address. We can deliver your parchment in New Zealand or internationally. Log into Arion now and update the permanent/home address fields to the address you would like your parchment delivered to.

Academic regalia
If you’ve already booked and paid for your academic regalia through Academic Dress Hire (ADH) and you plan to attend a future graduation ceremony, your existing hire fee can be credited and transferred to the new ceremony date.
If you’ve already received your academic regalia from ADH and do not want to attend a future ceremony, they will contact you about returning your regalia and any refund arrangements.

How to access your transcript in My eQuals
Your academic transcript, which outlines your courses and grades, will be available in My eQuals (AUT’s online student academic record system) from Friday 28 August. You’ll get an email from My eQuals on Friday 28 August explaining how to log in and access your transcript.
