Applications received after the official date will be considered on an individual basis and are subject to programme and campus availability. Massey University does not charge an application fee.
Studio space is limited in our Design and Fine Arts courses. We encourage you to submit your application earlier than the closing dates if you want to study these subjects.

Application process
Admission and enrolment is a two-stage process. The first step is to be approved for admission to study at Massey University. After approval, we will then enrol you into your courses. Please email us if you have questions or need any help.
Step 1 | Apply to study at Massey University Check that you meet the entry requirements for study at undergraduate or postgraduate level and submit the Study Abroad and Student Exchange Application. Step 2 | Receive and accept your Offer of Place We will email you an Offer of Place to study at Massey University if you meet the admission requirements. You can use this document to apply for a student visa through Immigration New Zealand.Our email will also include the general terms and conditions for International Students, a link to apply for housing, and a student ID application.You can accept your offer by returning the Acceptance of Offer of Place by the deadline listed in the document. Payment of the fees due is required at this time. |
Step 3 | Apply for accommodation You can apply for Massey housing using the link contained in your Offer of Place. |
Step 4 | Finalize your Confirmation of Place We will issue your Confirmation of Place once we receive your formal acceptance and payment. |
Flying to New Zealand
When booking your return flights, ensure you arrive at your campus in time for the compulsory orientation programme. Our orientations are full of social events, music, excursions, and sessions to help you settle into your new life at Massey University.

Everyone who intends to study at Massey University has to show that they are eligible to enrol. To be eligible you must hold a recognised entrance qualification.
