The Epsom Campus is the main campus for the Faculty of Education and Social Work and is home to approximately 3500 students. Based at 74 Epsom Avenue, the Epsom Campus offers foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in teacher education, sport health and physical education, social work and counselling.
The campus is less than 10 minutes’ drive from the CBD and City Campus and is easily accessible by bus from City and Grafton Campuses. It offers full amenities, including parking, leisure facilities, and the Sylvia Ashton-Warner Library – one of the most extensive teacher education libraries in the country.

Unlike City Campus, parking for students at Epsom Campus is free, and regular public transport runs between Mt Eden/Epsom and the city which takes approximately 10-15 minutes when traffic flows slowly.

The campus is also only a few minutes’ walk from the cafes and boutique shops of Mt Eden Village which is the perfect spot for coffee and study dates with new friends.
A wide range of student support services and facilities are available to our students which include the Epsom Information Commons, Te Korowai Atawhai (Māori student support), Pasifika Success, the First Year Experience programme, early childhood centres, a Marae, cafe, and tennis courts.
The Sylvia Ashton-Warner Library is an impressive resource for staff and students. The wide range of print material is complemented by vast electronic resources.There are also plenty of study spaces and computer rooms which are ideal for completing group or solo projects.
